Editors Announce UK Tour

Editors announced a full UK tour for October, culminating in a headline show at London Brixton Academy on 24th October.

The tour announcement follows three sold out album launch shows at Birmingham Town Hall, Manchester Cathedral and London Clapham Grand to celebrate the forthcoming release of eagerly anticipated album 'Violence'. The Autumn tour dates follow a busy summer of live shows for Editors, which sees them support The Cure at their huge BST Hyde Park show on 7th July, play Manchester's Neighbourhood Festival on 27th May and headline the Werchter Classic on 14th July.

'Violence' is the sixth album from Editors, and follows 2015's acclaimed top 5 'In Dream'. It is produced by Leo Abrahams (Wild Beasts, Florence & The Machine, Frightened Rabbit) and Editors with additional production from Benjamin John Power (Blanck Mass, Fuck Buttons) and mixed by Cenzo Townshend, except 'Hallelujah (So Low)' mixed by Alan Moulder.

Editors are a British indie rock/post-punk revival band from Birmingham, England, formed by Tom Smith (vocals, guitar, keyboards), Russell Leetch (bass) Ed Lay (drums) and Chris Urbanowicz (guitar) who met while studying at Staffordshire University, in Stafford, England, United Kingdom during 2003.
